Nice room with view

Asked for a pillow and didn’t get one There was blood on the upholstery of one of the chairs They couldn’t put my medicinal freezer packs in a freezer because it was locked Service was uneven Couldn’t get Wi-Fi to work

Good location loads of stairs up. . Near theatres

Lots of free tea coffee biscuits toiletries. Free pen postcard. Fridge didn't know about. Free upgrade to £59 room

Red hot hotel room can't turn heating off. Wallpaper tatty peeling off, chairs dirty stained, carpets stained, electric hanging off on towel rail. Trouble sleeping with the heat in room

I was grateful for my nice room with sea view, but the early checkout and closed areas detracted.

Breakfast was v good.

One was the 4pm check in and the 10am check out (most places are 11 or 12, 10 seems v early especially as breakfast goes til then, and it feels like a huge rush). When I stay here I like to relax in the lovely library room or the comfortable sofa area near the lobby. Both were closed off so there was no public area to just relax this morning. Up early and straight out!

Pleasant

Some Staff could do with re-training. On morning of leaving hotel, at Breakfast, lady clearing tables seemed in a rush, getting rid of my finished with plates & silverware while my wife was still eating. I thought that was rude and unnecessary. She should of waited till we had both left before clearing away. DON'T DO IT AGAIN!!!

We were not aware that there was no house keeping which we not told about which we found strange there didn't seem a lot of staff either

Mostly great stay, we like it there.

Large room and the view was AMAZING! The staff were really lovely and helpful. Beds were comfortable.

That the handle on the balcony door was very loose and coming away from the door and the door itself was very squeaky when opening. No opening that late at night.

Very enjoyable

Breakfast ok. Bedroom very good with lovely view and a good shower (except for a flashing light all night on air conditioner. ) Hotel in excellent location.

Head waiter at breakfast miserable and smelled of cigarettes. A flashing light on air conditioner keeping us awake. 1600 hrs checkin is too late. Car park filthy.

We enjoyed our stay

The room was huge with good facilities the location was excellent as it was close to town and beach, breakfast was adequate but every day was the same food but not the quality of a 4 star hotel.

We were not told about the parking permit which was £2.00 a day so we could park on the street outside, but we’re told to put the car number plate into the machine in reception and was charged £32.00 for our stay in the hotel car park. We also did not like that the room was not cleaned the whole stay, we had to go to reception to even ask for toilet rolls

Disappointed !

The location

Staff not very helpful l on arriving and trying to check in thought this was because they was busy with a wedding reception but was wrong ! Wasn't that friend either On finding our room after gavjbg to ask which room has wasn't told The room hadn't been cleaned vert well marks on walls Windows was filthy I cleaned the toilet which had clearly not been done Expected room to be serviced the next day y which is wasn't.. thankfully was bin bags in the bin for me to at least tied the used one and use a further one on coming in that evening and was tead sugar coffee milk etc in reception I could go and help myself to to viable to habe an evening and morning cuppa with. . Had brought my own towels thankfully has one bath towel between 2 just wouldn't have worked and specially for the whole 2 days Had to look on the towels Internet page to decoder when breakfast would be served .no information was shared and was no info within the room Also had to ring reception on first night to enquire about Internet acess has was trying to charge us when we'd paid for this within the price ..when booked it also stated parking but wasn't told until booking in they'd be a further charge of a daily rate for this ! Had to circle round until some left so could actually get a paid for parking space and weather wasn't the best for walking back back and forth ie to check in then back out to park. And then back to the hotel .wasn't an info fourth coming about the cost of parking or where to park .. breakfast was poor quality and not very well cooked .. I've had better at a supermarket cafe .

It was OK however, not somewhere I'd returrn.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The cocktail bar was lovely. Amazing sea view.

The main part of the hotel and the rooms are very dated and tired. It smelt old. There was a dirty cleaning cloth (I think that's what it was) left on the window sill in the bedroom.

For the price and location I would stay here again but as I said decor very dated update needed

Breakfast was ok, produce not great but for the price it was ok. Location was great

The decor is very tired, the lift was out of order so had to use an antiquated staff lift. Lifts should be available at all time.
